This is a very early version of the “refrigerator top” from Gibson.  It came from the estate of a fellow in Connecticut, and was one of several beauts, all superbly kept.  This guy was definitely one of us.

No adjustable truss rod, but the neck is perfectly set, and original frets are excellent, so it plays like a dream.

The painted top is really in great shape, with just a little bit of wear at the forearm position.  All original hardware, including that cool grained-ivoroid pickguard.  A real collectible piece, in my opinion, and in the best condition as any of these that I’ve ever seen

What I love about this one is the tone.  It’s got this sparkle versus chop, that is really nice…angelic in fact.

It’s in its original case.
